This one's for Gramma...

I've been telling my Gramma for a long time now that I would send her pictures of mine and Clint's heirloom quilt. Clint's aunt, Lynnae, made it for us when we got married. It's beautiful and we love it!! She makes the most amazing quilts... I need to take lessons from her! Some of our family and friends made a square with marriage advice or thoughts, and then Lynnae put it all together... incredible. All of the advice and quotes are so great; Clint and I love looking at them again and again.

Here it is, Gramma...

This is the square that Ginger did for us. I love having it from her.
I love her cute bride & groom heart creation; it's so her.

This is one that Aunt Lynnae did... beautiful.

Here's yours, Gramma!! I love it! Great advice and I love the lips!

Thank you again, Aunt Lynnae!! I'm sure it took several hours... it is greatly appreciated!

Summer, I'm so glad you got some pictures! You know I forgot to take some before I left! Please take some pix of our famiy's squares and email them too, okay?

Summer, I want to know what one of those squares says - the one that starts off with "Warning, unless you are married to a bona fide psychic, it is very unlikely . . ." I can guess what it says after that, but I'm curious! He he.

Great keepsake!

It says, "Warning, unless you are married to a bona fide psychic, it is very unlikely your partner will ever know what it is you want unless you have the courage and intelligence to specifically ask for it." :)

Just so you know...this is a tradition I started when the first grandchild of Serge and Marilyn Woodruff (Jennie Mayer) was getting married...the quilts were all funded by Grandpa Woodruff. Lynnae was the generous talent behind them...each unique to the color scheme of each couple....works of art!
